It's Launch Day!
I'm excited, nervous, scared, elated...I could continue, but let's not fill this post with a plethora of synonyms.
Six months ago, I decided to write a book. As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been writing for years, but I have never purposely written a book—or a Novella, in this case.
Personally, I LOVE reading college, enemies-to-lovers romance novels. If I can get people to leave me alone, I can read a book in a day. LOL. One of my friends from high school had written her seventh or eighth novel (I can't remember which one she is on), so I finally decided to try it out.
I have always been a writer, but most of my writing has been anecdotal, musing, or academic. This is the first time I actually wrote fiction!
Today, Dare You to Want Me is officially out in the world. You can read my romance novel for free on Kindle Unlimited! You can buy it.
And I don’t think that’s fully sunk in yet.
This book started quietly—A girl who worked at a coffee shop. A guy who was too polished for his own good. A setting that felt like a secret. I didn’t know what it would become. I just knew I had to write it.
And now? It’s finished. Published. Live.
If you’ve ever dreamed about doing something but talked yourself out of it—because it was too big, or too scary, or too far from who people thought you were—this book is proof that you can do it anyway.
It’s fiction. But it came from something real. Those who know me found the Easter Eggs I put in the book:
So if you’re into:
- Enemies-to-lovers
- Slow-burn tension
- Secret romance with sharp emotion and soft spice
- And characters who break their own rules...
Check it out!
Thank you for being here. For reading. For supporting. For quietly cheering behind the scenes.

(I can't believe I just typed that.)
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go download a copy to my Kindle Unlimited.
